Short Term and Long Term Disability
Only 5% of baby boomers realize they have a one in three chance of becoming disabled during their working years. Short and Long Term disability coverage provide benefits when an employee is unable to work due to a covered illness or injury. Some employers provide group disability benefits at no cost to employees and also give employees the chance to buy higher levels of coverage. Other employers offer the option of group coverage at the employee’s expense.

125 Pre-Tax Medical Deductions
If your employees pay a portion of their group insurance premiums, you may be able to give workers a little extra in their checks each and every payroll by letting us handle payroll deductions for insurance premiums on a pre-tax basis. Our Section 125 Plan allows employees to make contributions for their group health, dental, and vision before taxes are calculated. Under section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code, employees save FICA and federal income tax on their insurance deductions with every paycheck.
Section 125 Plan compliance is time consuming. IRS plan requirements are stringent and very complicated. By adopting our Section 125 Plan, your employees are able to enjoy their allowable benefits pre-tax. We provide at no charge the Plan Document, Adoption Agreement, Employee Election Forms, and Nondiscrimination testing.
COBRA Administration
If you employed more than 20 or more employees on at least half of your regular business days in the last calendar year and you currently have a group plan, you are subject to COBRA regulations. Innovative will ensure that COBRA guidelines are followed and that COBRA administration is handled within the law.
